Awkward Sibling Photos

Oh let me tell you about this session! I have known these two since they were born. They are both in their 20s now. A reached out and asked if I would take awkward sibling photos of her and her brother as a present for their mom’s birthday. Um… YES!! So we made a plan. I told her to do some research on the poses that she wanted to use.

They arrive at the studio and I say, “ok, let’s look at the inspiration pics first!”. And this is when it got fun cause her brother says, “Inspiration pictures? What are you talking about?”. Ha ha ha it seems she left out some important information about our plan. But if you know M, you know he is a good sport and so he just rolled with it! And later he said it didn’t matter if he knew ahead of time or not because it was sooo fun he would totally have agreed. We laughed so hard the entire time!! And then the hard part came, we had to keep it a secret!!! And it was KILLING us! Especially as we were all showing everyone the pictures behind mom’s back. Her birthday was on Monday and she has now thoroughly enjoyed them as much as we have and everyone has given me permission to share the joy with you!!

So we started with some easy ones, before we pushed the boundaries!

Now this is when it got fun!! Remember they are siblings! And pretty sure you can hear the laughter right?

These might be my favorites! M really wanted to do the middle one and I think that is the one that my daughter bust a gut laughing when she saw. The one on the right? A says… ok, 4 seconds I will be quick! and M’s face? We said it looks like he is being held hostage!!

I mean you can’t do this shoot without doing a wheelbarrow right?

And… the piece de resistance! Seriously so so funny!
