Winter Urban Senior Session | Northampton, MA senior photographer

Mr R really wanted a winter urban senior session. And he wanted graffiti and snow. So after a recent snowstorm, we headed up to Northampton- which was able to offer us the best of both. It was such a fun time. I worked with his mom 20 years ago (ack!) so there was a nice mix of reminiscing and chatting about our current lives. (Honestly, I should be wearing a warning label right now that says, Caution! do not say hello and ask me how I am if you aren’t prepared to chat with me for at least 15 minutes. Living with introverts is no joke people.) So after exploring Mr R’s favorite alley (um how much do I love that he had a favorite alley??) we kept on walking.

And as we walked and talked I would periodically say- ooh! stop right there!! That is my favorite way to do a senior session. Walking, talking and then being inspired by what I see along the way.

Quick outfit change and on to a snowy area.

And on we walked to find more cool little areas and graffiti!

And finally ending up at his favorite spot!! He said he had been planning this outfit and shot for quite a while- hope I did it justice.

Do you like an urban senior session? Or are you more park and flowers? Good news I love both!
