You would think with the number of Forest Park Senior Sessions I do every fall that I would tire of the location. But you would be wrong. Forest Park Senior Sessions often end up as some of my favorites of the year. What it has to offer in the diversity of locations is what makes it a fabulous choice for anyone. There are bridges and paths and stumps and rocks and water and buildings and so much! And I only use a small area of this wonderful oasis in the middle of the city. Truly Forest Park comes alive with so many people on the weekends out enjoying the park it is a joy to see.

One of the things that make Forest Park distinctive is the red bridges. I love when we can choose outfits that pop against that red color. And they just repainted it recently much to my great joy.

There is another bridge that I love to use as well.

This bridge leads to this cool rock building that is a favorite of mine in the late afternoon.

But the BEST bridge is the covered bridge. The nice thing about its location is that it works almost any time of day- something that makes photographers soooo happy!

No worries, if you aren’t a building/ bridge kind of person because there is so much beautiful natural background as well!

I just LOVE the beautiful paths for walking…. and stopping!
